More Micro Fishing... Micro Fly Rod This Round! #microfishing #microflyrod

Broke out the telescoping Micro Fly Rod this round. It’s the second version we made several years ago, and the one we keep in our backpack at the ready in case we see “fishy” waters while out and about during the work week!

This round it was little Sunfish and Bluegill at Celebration Park’s North Pond. Fun stuff catching them! PS: Shout out to the two onlookers who gave the rod a try; great job!

Put in at Lake Lavon’s Lavonia South Ramp for some kayak fishing. Plan was to catch a few fish for a soup recipe – specifically, yellow bass as well as anything else that was legal size! Went with Nightcrawlers and caught a few, then caught a few more bottom bouncing slab and jig rigs! Do check back for the soup recipe and the next day’s trip kayak fishing Clear Lake Park on Lavon!

Enjoyed a morning walk on a “Non-Labor Day”… like to use this term for today since we are not working today. While on the walk, checked out a pond and its feeder creek for any fish. Did not see any fish in the pond but noticed a number of Bluegill and Bass lurking in the feeder creek. No fishing this round; did get a couple of videos and posted them below!   On a walk today.
