Action Saturday, January 6 where we fished Waterloo Park in Denison,TX to catch trout for a Catch N’ Cook video requested by one of our Readers. Key bait was Corn. ower Bait worked but the trout really bit on the corn. Also, caught a couple on the fly using the Micro Flyrod and a Guadalupana! Do check out our Catch and Cook video on our Channel! We clean and cook stocker sized trout by either cutting their heads and gutting them or removing their gills and then gutting them. Cooking them is simple… sprinkle the trout with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Let marinate in the the fridge for about an hour or two, and then pan fry in a cast iron skillet.
