Fly Tying This Evening... Stonefly Pattern #flytying #flyfishing
Wish we had this pattern while fishing the Blue River yesterday. First time tying a Stonefly, the goose biots are a pain. Also, had to find a substitute for the vinyl ribbing since Cabelas was out of them. Found a stretch and bend line used for craft beads. Worked fine… still have a tough time with the biots though. stopped by #cabelas for #flyting material. tying a #stonefly …wished had them on the #blueriver yesterday. first time tying this pattern. harder than others but got two done!
