Fun trip to the Texas Coast fishing for inshore saltwater fish with our Zebco Slingshot Spinning Combos purchased from Walmart for $9.99! Overall, the fiesty combo held their own except for one that got away... would say the 8lbs line was the culprit not the combo.

UW Video In The Works, Liking the RIO Trout Max #fishing

Was able to limit out yesterday at Waterloo in Denison. Caught them on Ultralight Gear and Corn. Did get some underwater video using the Water Wolf Camera as well as practice with the 4wt 8′ fly rod using Rio’s Trout Max single spey shooting head. Still working on the underwater video. For now, below is a snippet of the action and a short clip on the Trout Max! Only Two This Round Tenkara Fishing #flyfishing

Tough round this go… a little Bass and a Bluegill after spending most of the time trying to get Bass protecting their bed to strike. Had one strike but missed it; else, the Bass were definitely wary! Overall, have been pleasantly surprised at the convenience of Tenkara and its simplicity. Definitely makes it easier for quick trips to fish local ponds while out and about and/or on a whim!
