DIY Inline Spinner for BFS Fishing

Forgot I had the inline spinner lure making kit. It was gathering dust in the closet.

Luckily, I remembered it was there after ordering another Kastking Zephyr BFS Reel… this one has a reel clicker like the Shimano Scorpion 17 Reel.

In short order, made two inline spinners using 1/16oz worm weights for the body.

Tried them at a couple of ponds and had one Bass strike but did not land it. Need to use a bigger treble hook.

Made the modification, now just got a catch a fish… who knows, maybe with the new Kastking Zephyr BFS with reel clicker. Supposed to deliver tomorrow!

Limited Out Yesterday, Struck Out This Morning #troutfishing

Limited out yesterday on trout at Bethany Lakes but struck out this morning. I added a third split shot and actually started out with the eight today which I have not taken recently. Shortly into the outing I caught a split shot right at the tip very easy fix but end of the day for the eight. So it was back to the old trusty four lol. I still had a size 6 on it and immediately went to pounding the Sandbass every cast. Saturday Switch Rod Practice at Bethany Lakes.... #switchrod

Decided to get a round of Switch Rod casting practice at Bethany Lakes this morning. Missed two Bass but did get two Bass. Lots of fun especially getting distance casts using the one-handed style we like. One Bass went for a Clouser Minnow; the other Bass went for an Olive Near Deere. The two Bass we missed went for the Clouser Minnow.
