Fishing Updates from the Team!

Been out of pocket fishing but am able to post a quick update on Team happenings as well as last Sunday’s fishing at Towne Lake in McKinney where we limited out on trout using the Rubber Legged Near Deere!

Kayak Fishing | Lake Lavon | Lavonia South Boat Ramp

Put in at Lake Lavon’s Lavonia South Ramp for some kayak fishing. Plan was to catch a few fish for a soup recipe – specifically, yellow bass as well as anything else that was legal size! Went with Nightcrawlers and caught a few, then caught a few more bottom bouncing slab and jig rigs! Do check back for the soup recipe and the next day’s trip kayak fishing Clear Lake Park on Lavon!

Having fun catching little fish with the Micro Fly Rod. Next step… taking the Micro Fishing Challenge to catch a fish that can fit on a US Quarter using a Micro Fly Pattern! Starting out with what we have on hand for the smallest hook – a size 22 dry fly hook. However, did place an order with TenkaraBum at TenkaraBum’s Store for micro fishing hooks in size 26 and size 30! Happy "Non-Labor Day"

Enjoyed a morning walk on a “Non-Labor Day”… like to use this term for today since we are not working today. While on the walk, checked out a pond and its feeder creek for any fish. Did not see any fish in the pond but noticed a number of Bluegill and Bass lurking in the feeder creek. No fishing this round; did get a couple of videos and posted them below!   On a walk today.
