  • Possum Kingdom Fly Fishing 101 happened as scheduled.
  • Added the Trout Derby at Waterloo Pond in Denison scheduled for February 1.
  • Posted the Trout Fishing 1,2,3 Strategy demo using spinning gear for trout.
  • Posted the CGR Fiberglass Fly Rod and Orvis Hydros Fly Reel video fishing a local pond.

Decided to get a round of Switch Rod casting practice at Bethany Lakes this morning. Missed two Bass but did get two Bass. Lots of fun especially getting distance casts using the one-handed style we like. One Bass went for a Clouser Minnow; the other Bass went for an Olive Near Deere. The two Bass we missed went for the Clouser Minnow. More info on Possum Kingdom! With the lake full and the flow good we caught almost trout till July this year up by the dam. Many had put on serious weight hope the lake stays full again this year.
