Super Dupers and Mop Flies for Turner Falls Trout...!

Although it rained Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday, Saturday was dry and much warmer for the Team. Given the break in the weather, we headed to Turner Falls Park near Davis, Oklahoma for a round of trout fishing.

The Team limited out with several nice sized ones that went for a Gold Super Duper. Other trout were mostly caught on the fly using Mop Flies.

Of the trout caught fly fishing, one trout went for a PMC Emerger, another trout took a John Deere, else the remainder taken on fishing flies went for a Mop Fly in Chartreuse with an Orange Egg Sac or Chartreuse with a Pearl Chenille collar.

Water was clear, temps climbed to the 60s, and the sun was shining. The wind did kick up as the day progressed. That said, it was a perfect day to be on a river fishing for trout!
