Steady Trout Fishing at Waterloo Sunday!

Fished Waterloo Pond in Denison for Rainbow Trout on Sunday December 23, 2018. Tried catching them on the fly rod but no takers. Bite was steady but not the fast-paced action we normally see at the little pond.

Fishing partner found the pattern using Ultralight Spinning Gear and one of simple PowerBait Rigs we use. Trout wanted Orange Trout Dough Bait in a Salmon Egg scent.

Did bring the Water Wolf Camera and got some underwater footage of the trout to include one that we were able to hook and land.

Really nice day with lots of sun although the wind kicked up on us; no worries,… bundled up well.

Trout were striking and running in on us. Had lots of missed hook sets but we did manage to limit out!

Fun stuff!

Till later, Good Luck and Good Fishing, and…

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
