More Kayak Fishing at Texoma... #kayakfishing

Cooler temps this morning but did make the run to Texoma and put in a Spillway Ramp. Had one school pass and was able to catch one Striper. Later, worked a school of shad and was able to catch a Gaspergou. All was quiet, trolling, jigging, and sight casting but no more schools breaking the surface like the other two trips. However, did get one more Striper while casting to point. Still working on the video; will get it out in the next few days.

PS: Having the depth finder (Lowrance Hook 3X DSI) made a difference in locating schools of shad!

Happy "Non-Labor Day"

Enjoyed a morning walk on a “Non-Labor Day”… like to use this term for today since we are not working today. While on the walk, checked out a pond and its feeder creek for any fish. Did not see any fish in the pond but noticed a number of Bluegill and Bass lurking in the feeder creek. No fishing this round; did get a couple of videos and posted them below!   On a walk today.
