A Few Changes at Beavers Bend State Park

Fished Beavers Bend State Park in Oklahoma Saturday; did a little looking around and captured video of some of the changes that have occurred due to the flood damage earlier this year. Evening Hole, Cold Hole, and Spillway Creek are much different than when we were here last year.

Also, Lost Creek is definitely lost with minimal water flow and lots of debris to clobber the area. Word is that it will not be rebuilt. Regardless, the new areas are definitely fish-able!

Managed to catch two nice Rainbow Trout! Picture posted below is one of the two. It went 18″ in size! Must plan on another trip before year end.

PS: Still working on the fishing video from Saturday; hope to have it posted in the near future!
