Switch Rod Practice at Bethany This Evening!

Took the Switch Rod to Bethany this evening for some practice. Started with the Switch Cast, then shifted to the Two-Handed Overhead Cast, and then back to the One-Handed Overhead Cast but with a twist.

Have discovered that a short flip of the fly line forward takes up slack and loads the rod for an easier One-Handed Overhead Cast.

While practicing did get several Bluegill, Sunfish, and one Bass with a Near Deere and a Foam Grasshopper. Fun stuff!

PS: Lots of people playing Pokemon Go this evening.
