Eagles Nest Pond aka "Pond Behind In-N-Out Burger"

Late start this evening but did make it out for a round of fishing. Decided to try Eagles Nest Catch and Release Pond also known as the “Pond Behind In-N-Out Burger”.

Used a 5-Weight Fly Rod and started with a Yellow Foam Grasshopper. Had several strikes but no hook ups. Was using a size 8 hook, so the little scrappers were pecking at the fishing fly without getting hooked.

After a while, switched to a White Near Deere and started catching little Bluegill and Bass. Was having a good time especially with the light strikes that made great practice for trout stocking season!

Overall had a great time fishing, even gotta nice Bruiser Bluegill… posted it on the Fishing Bulletin Board, too!
