Three This Time!

Made it back to Bethany Lakes after work this evening. Only three Bass this time; still a great time.

Was testing out a Bent Back Clouser Variant – this one uses a weighted keel and no dumbbell or bead chain eyes. Weighted keel is enough to sink the Clouser.

Also, use Craft Fur instead of Deer Hair; tied the Craft Fur sparse, and then wrapped the hook/keel with holographic tinsel.

Two Bass went for the Bent Back Clouser Variant; one Bass went for a Mardi Gras Near Deere. Did lose a nice one that went for the Bent Back Clouser Variant. Oh well, good excuse to go fishing again!
