Simple Micro Fishing Size 22 Dry Flies

After missing quite a few little fish that were feeding on insects hovering just over the water’s surface, decided to make a simple micro fishing dry fly that would “hover” just above the water.

Using a size 22 dry fly hook, dacron tying thread, and a grizzly hackle, made the tail and hackle longer to create the “hover” effect.

Hope to try them out this week and see if the smaller size hook and the “hover” makes a difference.

Crossing our fingers!
