Fished the Guadalupe River this Round

Fished the Guadalupe River this round. We were targeting Bass and Panfish but struck out. Worked several pools down river from the tail race using a strike indicator and a Near Deere.

After a while, went up river and fished the tail race. First tried the area by a big tree in the River. Had a strike on the first cast but missed it. Kept at it for about 30″ but did not get anymore hits.

So, crossed over to the other side, and fished the seams, pockets, and the deep pool. After a couple of light strikes, managed to finally hook up with a Rainbow Trout! Did lose another as well but overall had a great time on the Guadalupe River!
